Let us say you need to walk to work –
Can you answer this question without knowing below parameters – Would you make it for your 9 am?
a) Your walking speed
b) Distance to work from current location
c) Average waiting time for pedestrian signals
If your answer is yes, then think again, why isn’t this rationale applied to long term goals in life – Career goals, Financial goals – retirement planning, Health goals.
Shouldn’t these goals be nurtured and tracked much more closely than is done currently – If you are already there, do not read further 🙂
If your career aspiration is to be a CEO – shouldn’t there be intermediate targets and your status assessed against them appropriately.
If you aspire to sport a fitter look by your next birthday shouldn’t you have monthly targets and work on course correction if there is a fat overload…
