The Ravens running game has been awful all season long. What normally was the staple of their offense has become their biggest liability. The numbers do not inspire much confidence for the Ravens who will face a Lions defense that ranks sixth against the run by surrendering just less than 100 yards per game. Ray Rice is averaging 3.0 yards per carry, which people have tried to dismiss as Rice’s skills diminishing but the younger Bernard Pierce averages 2.7… ouch!
