Twitter is NOT Overvalued – Amplify is a Game-Changer

Jordan Jett

Amplify

I have a Twitter, but I rarely tweet anything. In fact, I rarely open the app, or go to the website at all – at least I didn’t in the past. Slowly but surely I am beginning to open Twitter on my phone more often, and it isn’t to tweet. I find myself scrolling through my feed on Sundays to catch up on the NFL games that are going on. This is all because of Twitter’s new service called Amplify that allows broadcasters to show video clips and ads through tweets that are coordinated with what is being shown on television. I paid little attention to Amplify’s announcement when the news broke months ago, but my experience this fall has led me to believe that it is a game-changer that can create an immense amount of value for Twitter.
